Description of Course Load
Normal Load: The specific load a student must register for can indeed vary based on the type of program they are enrolled in, such as regular, extension, summer, or distance programs. Each program’s curriculum will provide detailed information on the required ECTS credits for each module or course.
Regular Programs: 30-35 ECTS (17-22 credit hours) per semester.
Evening Programs: 14-18 ECTS (8-12 credit hours) per semester.
Summer In-Service Programs: 20-22 ECTS (12-15 credit hours) per semester.
Special Permissions:
Students with a CGPA of 2.50 or above can request to exceed the normal load, up to a maximum of 35 ECTS (22 credit hours).
Graduating students with a CGPA of 2.00 or above may also be granted permission to take up to 35 ECTS (22 credit hours).
Special Considerations:
Female and special needs students have a minimum load requirement of 25 ECTS (15 credit hours) per semester.
Evening program students can take up to 25 ECTS (15 credit hours) if they have completed at least one academic year and have a CGPA of 2.50 or above.
Masters Programs:
Regular Masters: 30-35 ECTS per semester.
Summer In-Service, Extension, and Distance Programs: 20-22 ECTS per semester.
