Dr. Tola Bariso, the head of Oromia Education Bureau, along with his team, deans from colleges of teachers' education in Oromia, zonal leaders of educational office, and other stakeholders visited Dambi Dollo University to gain experiences from the university’s current initiatives being undertaken.
In a short presentation to the crew, Dambi Dollo University's President, Leta Tesfaye (PhD), provided a comprehensive summary of the university's activities. After a brief overview of the university's initiatives, the team directly proceeded to visit the integrated agriculture research center and STEM center of the University.
As a result of their visit, they observed poultry, dairy farming, fish breeding, vegetable and fruit production, as well as pig farming at the University. They witnessed that these are expected to contribute substantially to the growth of the national economy and aid in stabilizing market inflation. The tour also included a visit to the STEM center and other facilities, showcasing the profound influence that continuous innovations will have on the progression of technology.
