Dambi Dollo University signs MoU with Metal Industry Development Institute

Dambi Dollo University today signed a technology transfer agreement with the Metal Industry Development Institute. Dr. Leta Tesfaye, President of Dambi Dollo University, who signed the MoU on behalf of the university, said the agreement will benefit the students of the university as it creates good communication between the university and the Metal Industry Development Institute. He added that the agreement will also benefit the local community.

On the other hand, Director General of the Metal Industry Development Institute, Asfaw Regassa, on his part said the agreement will serve as a starting point for the relationship between the two institutions and will encourage job creation by supporting local indigenous knowledge with technology. Extensive discussions were held on the day of the program and constructive ideas were raised to implement the agreement.
