Dambi Dollo University holds talks with stakeholders to intensify efforts on preventing coronavirus outbreakThe university has discussed issues relevant to curbing the spread of corona virus with stakeholders from all the districts in the Kellem Wollega Zone. In his opening remarks, the University President Dr. Leta Tesfaye initiated the discussion by explaining the main aims of the discussion. The discussion was chaired by distinguished guests, Dr. Sanbata Gutata and Dr. Nagasa Kasa, who are currently serving at the Black Lion Specialty Hospital. The discussion was concluded successfully by involving all stakeholders on the issues raised and the participants have cherished experiences and laid the way forward. At the end of the discussion, the university has distributed self-produced products such as sanitizer, liquid soap, disinfectant (berekina) and face masks to all the districts under the zone to prevent the outbreak of the Coronavirus.In other way, the university is offering three-day training on ‘COVID-19 Healthcare Response Training of Trainers’ to health professionals who came out of the zone by the distinguished guests from the Black Lion Specialty Hospital.
